Shotgun Shocks

Shotgun Shock is a high performance softail air ride. First of all this air suspension is for softails only, but we are working on applications for other fitments. They will fit any year and any manufacture of softail and can also be configured to custom lengths. This unit is a single body with 2 reciprocating pistons. There are 4 solenoids built into the unit allowing it to reciprocate in and out with air. This feature allows us to control both height and firmness with pressurized air, which is supplied from an on board air compressor. The ride is amazing in any position. The unit allows the bike to be lowered to the mechanical stops of the frame and if the swingarm is customized the bike can be set on the ground. The swingarm can be pressurized down with air, allowing the rider to burn rubber without the rear flexing. Also since air is holding the swingarm down, the bike can be quickly raised allowing the rider to have immediate ground clearance while riding the bike. So the shotgun shock allows for a superior ride and also allows the rider more versatility from their suspension. The unit is also extremely safe since the one air line from the compressor to the body does not hold pressure when the unit is in use; it only transfers pressure to the unit when needed. This is accomplished because the shotgun shock is totally valved from the inside. There is a one way valve on the inlet and will not let air release. Further the shotgun shock body is 1/4 inch wall thickness allowing for total safety even if encountering road debris. It is manufactured from 6061 t6 billet aluminum. All the internal valving surfaces have been hard anodized for anti corrosion and long seal life. All the parts are manufactured in the USA and are of the highest quality. The finish comes in a brilliant show polish or in a black anodize. The shotgun shock comes complete with wiring harness compressor and proprietary brackets and air line, installation is a breeze the unit mounts with the stock Harley shoulder bolts and no shimming or special spacers are needed. The wiring is plug and play. The shotgun shock is competitively priced and is fully warranted.
